Game Overview
The Last Container is a narrative tile-placement puzzle game where players act as a Memory Organizer, helping families sort through belongings left behind by their loved ones when they passed. By discovering stories inside everyday objects and arranging uniquely shaped items into containers, players rebuild small worlds of memory, turning careful observation and gentle puzzle-solving into a quiet journey of remembrance, healing, and acceptance.

Inspiration
This game is rooted in a deeply personal experience: the passing of my mother. While sorting through her belongings, I realized that ordinary objects could hold fragments of her life — small vessels of laughter, warmth, regret, and unspoken love. Each item became a doorway to memories that were both tender and painful.
Through The Last Container, I wanted to transform that intimate process into an interactive, meditative experience that invites players to reflect on the emotional resonance of everyday things and find comfort in the quiet act of letting go.
Game Pillars

Empathy Through Interaction

Empathy Through Interaction
Everyday objects become carriers of story and emotion. Close attention reveals personal significance in small details and invites careful looking.
Empathy Through Interaction
Completing each arrangement mirrors the process of working through loss. Rebuilding a container becomes a gentle practice of understanding, connection, and acceptance.
